The View From Here

June 2, 2012 was the Dressage Company show held at the beautiful Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio and officially marked Cory’s third year working with me at horse shows.  It was also the … most interesting… show I’ve ever done in the six or so years I’ve been an Official Show Photographer at an equine event.

The day gave me much to think about, including where we will be taking elzora.com photography into the future. I’ll not say much now, but leave you with this image I took just before leaving at the end of the day. The fisheye is a wonderful type of lens that lends to interesting angles and a very pronounced bubble perspective. I took it at the edge of the out door arena area where I sat for the duration of the show and enjoyed several wonderful rides, smiles and frowns, mishaps and victories…
